  I think the chains across the washing machine are turning out really great so far! I added to the mysterious element by leaving the chain unlocked. I think the gradient on the chains creates a really realistic effect, next I hope to finalize the background and add some fantasy elements to the machine.

  For my second object, I chose to use the chains overlaying this heart photo I found on Google. I think the chains across the washer will create an element of mystery into what is inside.

  This is my current sketching of the washing machine. I am still trying to get the hang of all of the tools in illustrator, but I think it is coming out pretty good so far. I added a gradient which I like, but need to modify the tracing.

  For this assignment, I was inspired my my broken washing machine. It makes a terribly loud sound whenever I use it, so I thought I would try to turn it in to something scary looking. I took this inspiration and found a photo on google images of a similar looking washing machine.
